Joseph's story

Joseph is a convenience store owner and has been a Payzone retailer for 17 years. He has recently had the new Payzone Plus device installed so we spoke to him to learn more about his experience.

Problem

The old Payzone device was much bulkier with lots of wires so it took up more space on my countertop. It was also much slower so it took longer to process transactions. When I heard about the new Payzone Plus device in the post, I was drawn to the fact that it is easier to connect to the wifi, it looks much smarter, there are more services available and it is portable. By switching to this device, I was hoping to save space on my countertop and also serve more customers, quicker.

Solution

The set-up process was really easy and I am now waiting for another Payzone Plus device to use in another one of my stores. Since having the Payzone plus device, we have experienced an uplift in customers using the services. Because it is faster to use, people are not waiting around as long which means we can serve more customers in a shorter space of time. As well as the new device being better and quicker to use, Payzone has also drastically improved their service.

Impact

Overall, I now have a device that is generally quicker and better than what I was using previously and I find the broader range of services to be beneficial to both myself and my customers.
